About the holiday home

This well-furnished holiday cottage is located in the scenic area of Ho with a view of the bay.

It is furnished with an energy efficient heat pump, which serves as both an air conditioner and cleaner, ensuring a good indoor environment and economical heating. No letting to youth groups.

The house is provided with an 18 m² swimming pool, a whirlpool and a sauna. The 30 m² terrace facing the bay is perfect for enjoying the morning sun, while the 40 m² closed terrace is delightful in the light summer evenings. It would suit two families sharing.

The area of Ho offers a variety of leisure activities, such as golf, bowling and horseback riding. The North Sea is within short distance.

This is an excellent starting point for excursions to the many attractions of the west coast of Jutland, e.g. Esbjerg, which is well worth a visit with its harbour and many attractions such as The Fisheries and Maritime Museum. The city was founded on the existing port in 1899 and has the longest pedestrian zone in Jutland with good shopping opportunities.

In the end of August, the Ho Sheep Market is also worth a visit. The market attracts people from near and far.

Before the holiday

Rental agreement and directions

Shortly after booking holiday accommodation through DanCenter you will receive your booking confirmation. This confirmation constitutes your rental agreement containing all necessary information. On the first page you will find information about the addresses of your holiday home and the key pick up place, as well as a directions on how to find the house. On the following pages you will find the invoice for the stay you have booked complete with transfer order/inpayment form, stating the due dates.

On arrival at the key pick up point, you will be asked to present your rental agreement whereupon you will be handed your key as well as an electricity-envelope on which the meter readings of all consumption dependant expenses (electricity, heating, water, etc.) are to be noted upon arrival as well as departure.

Time of arrival

Arrival can take place from 4 p.m. on the day the rental period commences.

Arrival outside opening hours

If you can not reach your destination until eg. late evening, our local offices will be closed. Therefore please contact us in time to make arrangements with regards to the key and the deposit. The contact information of the local office can be found on your rental agreement or under the menu Kontakt on dancenter.dk

Extras

All holiday homes are equipped with all kitchen utensils, duvets and pillows necessary for the maximum amount of persons, which the house can room. Bed linen, dish cloths, table cloths etc. can be rented at the local office or online, if you prefer not to bring these items yourselves.

When you book a baby cot, please note that we can not guarantee space for the cot in the master bedroom. If the house description say there is a cot in the house and you only need one, booking is unnecessary.

You can also book delivery of the extras you rent. This way you do not need to drive several times between the holiday home and local office.

Please note that in high season, extras might be sold out. Therefore we recommend you to always book extras and final cleaning when booking your holiday home.

What is a cleaning audit charge?

We charge customers a small cleaning audit fee to prepare the room for the next guest, even as some outgoing guests prefer to clean the room themselves. Are such guests still required to pay a cleaning charge? Yes. Please let us explain.

While we appreciate guests cleaning the room themselves, we nonetheless conduct an audit to ensure that the room is in excellent shape. The cleaning audit fee we levy is for the time and effort involved in checking that our cleaning standards have been met, so that we can provide our customers with the best experience.

Var skuffet over at komme til et hus, hvor der var snavs og mad mærker på bl.a. køleskabslåg og samtlige dør. Køkken bestik og skufferne var beskidte. Så vi måtte gøre et ordentligt rengøring af det hele efter ankomst. Fik vasket samtlige bestik, før brug. / Vi fandt bl.a. vinoptrækker med siddende prop. / / Rengøring af pool rummet var også dårligt. Der var snavs, hår elastik og generelt beskidt gulve. / Her måtte vi også gøre rent. Udover det, var det ene toilet i poolrummet meget beskidt. Her var rengøring af brusestedet total dårligt vedligeholdt. Her måtte vi også gøre rent selv efter ankomst. / Så alt i alt smukt hus med masse af muligheder. Men rengøringsmæssigt burde Dancenter skal have meget mere tjek op på det. / Derudover, er vinduerne og det ene dør i stuen total utætte, at man kunne stikke en finger igennem døren, selvom døren var lukket. Vi brugte et tæppe til den store utæthed, der var ved stuedøren. / / Der er ingen Wifi og brugbar kanaler. / Så der er plads til forbedringer.”
