About the holiday home

Apartment Roseto near Lucignano, in the heart of Tuscany, is ideal for a relaxing vacation. It is a few kilometers from Arezzo, Siena and Florence and also near Umbria. The house is furnished in the traditional Tuscan style.

This accommodation is ideal for a quiet vacation and it is a good starting point for trips to cities of art and walks in the surrounding nature.

The house is surrounded by a large garden with fruit trees, a swimming pool, a gazebo and a barbecue and overlooks the beautiful Tuscan hills. It is a family business and the owners are happy to welcome guests throughout the year. The private garden is partially fenced and has a barbecue, lighting and an electrical outlet. An ideal place to enjoy a meal or a drink together. The barbecue is cleaned every morning.

The homeowner organizes olive tastings on request from their own organic olive grove. On request it is possible to follow a typical Italian cooking class.

“We were very kindly welcomed by the owner, Claudia, who speaks great English. We were in apartment Il Roseto, a beautiful, very spacious apartment with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a spacious living / dining room and kitchen. The apartment was spit and span and had a (light) basement, ground floor and first floor. There is air conditioning in the living room and both bedrooms (for a fee). The kitchen is well equipped including dishwasher, hob with oven and microwave. Downstairs you will find a washing machine for your own use. In the garden you have a private sitting area with table and chairs under a shelter. The garden and seating belonging to the apartment are not closed off from the neighbors (visible on both sides), but certainly not disturbing. The pool is nice, clean and plenty of sun beds and umbrellas. The gardens are beautifully maintained by the owner Andrea, who speaks little English but is also very friendly. The owners do everything to make you happy and you can follow a cooking workshop and even book breakfast. They sell their own Tasty olive oil and honey. Nearby, nice restaurants and a lovely old city center (pje), within walking distance for the enthusiast (because up hill). Furthermore, many beautiful towns in the area, with Siena as the high point. This apartment is an absolute must, we will definitely come back to Claudia and Andrea!”

“On arrival Claudia was present and showed us the way around the house and explained the rules. She did this in an unpleasant way. She asked if we wanted to skip changing the bed after a week because she was busy. Furthermore, there was nothing in the house in terms of sugar, salt and pepper, detergent actually the basic things that are usually there. If you come by plane you have to buy everything and if you are there for a week it is annoying. The range of crockery and cooking utensils was rather sparse. Only 2 wine glasses for an apartment for 4 people. Few pans etc. The house was not within walking distance of the village which is mentioned in the information. For shopping you have to drive approx. 6 km, but was no problem for us. Good sized supermarkets in Sinalunga.”

The cottage itself was fully equipped, for example oven, dishwasher, towels, sheets, WiFi and two spacious bathrooms. The cottage is located in a beautiful, mountainous area. Siena, Florence and Volterra can easily be reached by car. This accommodation is definitely recommended, especially the very friendly hostess.”

“The hostess was very friendly. She also speaks English. That was great for us because we do not understand Italian. The house has a total of 4 apartments. The accommodation has 3 floors with 2 bathrooms, 2 bedrooms and on the ground floor a living room with kitchen. Kitchen is well equipped! Everything is very clean and tidy. Big enough for a 4-headed family. Garden with private barbecue is also available. The pool was about 13m long and was cleaned regularly. There are enough beach chairs at the pool vorhanden.Uns allles very well liked, the accommodation clean and ordenlich, great pool and a quiet location in the middle of Tuscany.”

Claudia really went to great lengths to speak English and she was well understood. Super hostess and you immediately feel at home. The host brushes the BBQ every morning, this was a pleasant surprise for us. The cottage is within walking distance of Lucignano that is accessible after a steep climb through the beautiful nature. You feel that Claudia, Andreas and Nico do this with heart and soul.”

“Excellent holiday apartment, very spacious and with great amenities. There are four apartments in 1 building but there is a lot of privacy, it almost feels like you have your own house. Everything is provided inside and outside tip-top. There is only no TV, but we found no objection. You can sit outside and the view of Lucignano against the hills is beautiful. Also the swimming pool is great when we were there it was still cold but it is big and it is very nice and sheltered with various sun loungers and seats. The proprietor, Claudia, speaks good English and is very friendly and helpful. It is very central, you can easily reach surrounding places like Arezzo and Siena and in the apartment there is also a lot of information about it. Really recommended!”
