“Fantastic house with all the comforts, beautiful large and especially enclosed garden ideal for traveling with a pet. Very nice swimming pool perfectly maintained. The owner gives you a warm welcome with the necessary explanations and tips and is available if necessary. The house is very quietly situated in the middle of the olive groves. Excursions to Florence, Lucca, Montecatini, Pisa and the Tuscan coast can be reached within an hour by car. Pistoia is also very cozy. Supermarkets are 10 minutes away. In short, a real recommendation to explore Tuscany. We did this in the company of our faithful four-legged friend.”

“Very nice house in a beautiful garden. Maximum privacy. Large beautiful swimming pool with sun loungers. Owners are very friendly and helpful. If there was anything they were quick to fix it. Various bicycles available of moderate quality. The location of the house is perfect. A short distance from Pistoia and other nice places. The mosquitoes in the evening are annoying. From about six o'clock they show up en masse. Applying Deet well is a must to prevent yourself from being punctured completely. House has good air conditioning which makes it nice and cool to sleep. If you keep the doors closed tightly, you can keep the mosquitoes out of the house.”

Large and quiet property with a beautiful private pool, spacious house, fully airconditioned and provided with everything one needs for a comfortable stay, including integrated blinds and mosquito nets for all windows and doors. Very nice owners that regularly come by to clean the pool in the early morning hours, without waking up the guests :-). Half an hour drive from Florence and Lucca, Pistoia itself is only a few kilometers away and offers sufficient shopping and dining options.”

“Beautiful well-kept accommodation on the outskirts of Pistoia.Very quiet location among the olive trees, yet close to the city with all the necessary shops and nice restaurants in the center. Arrival was neatly arranged, we were met, and the house was very clean. It is good to keep cool with the air conditioning. The pool was nice, it was cleaned early in the morning every day, so it didn't bother us. (Size approx. 5x10) The owners are very friendly and did everything to ensure you have a pleasant stay.”

“On arrival we were very warmly welcomed by the owner and her brother. The owner does not speak English, but thanks to her brother's interpretation, everything was perfectly explained. The cottage itself is very quiet and well maintained. There were no comments either indoors or outdoors! The pool was fantastic and was regularly cleaned by the owner (in the early hours, so we were never disturbed). We were with 2 couples, one of whom spent the night in the sofa bed. This bed was also very comfortable! Thanks to the air conditioning in the rooms, it was always nice and fresh in the house. Our dog was also welcome here and could enjoy the fenced garden. The only comment we had were the mosquitoes (and the ants). The owner had also thought of this by making mosquito repellent available. It is, however, recommended to provide this yourself (a few sprays for the body to keep the mosquitoes aloof). Pistoia itself is also a very beautiful town, not yet affected by tourism and a lot of authentic elements. There are some nice shops in the streets and many nice restaurants. The restaurant less than 100m from the holiday home is definitely recommended! You can go there on foot and you can eat very well with friendly managers. In our eyes this holiday home is highly recommended at this location! Both the environment, the town, the house, the owners and the residents have been able to charm us.”

“Tuscany is of course a beautiful environment. The villa is located outside the big city of Pistoia. Our navigation system sent us through a very difficult route. There are different roads from Pistoia up into the mountains, make sure you follow the Via di Sant "Alesso or the Via Cialdina, these are the easiest passable.Pistoia is pretty centrally located in Tuscany, and beautiful cities such as Pisa, Lucca and Firenze can be reached by car or train in the foreseeable future, especially for Firenze the train is ideal for nature lovers, the nature reserve Acquerino is a must, where the trip alone is worth it. For sporty people, running and cycling (mountain biking) ) in the immediate vicinity of the villa certainly possible, although this in warm weather can only really in the morning. On arrival we were met by the landlords, who explained everything their English was a bit flawed, but sufficient to pass all info about The accommodation was very nice and in excellent condition.All facilities worked properly and were clean.There is a pizzeria (il Postino) within walking distance, and the superm arks in Pistoia can be reached by car within 10 minutes.Please be prepared that there is no living room, just a dining table, which for us was sufficient. In addition, there were indeed a lot of annoying mosquitoes outside. But that does not detract from the rest of our vacation.”

“The house Paneolio (bread and oil) was a wonderful place to spend this holiday. The owners are very friendly and solved (small) problems immediately. The house was clean and well maintained. The pool is fantastic, clean and wonderfully warm. The house is a great base for visits to Lucca, Pisa or Florence. Pistoia (5 km away) is also nice to visit. Not far from the house is a pizzeria where you can eat fine (and cheap). As far as we are concerned, there were only 2 drawbacks to the enormous amount of mosquitoes (both during the day and in the evening you were really stung) and the limited amount of kitchen utensils. We bought a sharp knife ourselves because it was missing. There was also, for example, no coffee machine. But nevertheless we are very enthusiastic about this house and this location!”

“Beautiful domain with nice pool. The house has no living room and a small kitchen so you have to sit on the terrace. There you have the full sun in the morning and in the evening. There was a real mosquito plague from the eve. The kitchen table is extendable but then the space is very tight. One bedroom is next to the kitchen and has a sliding glass door with strips of frosted glass and narrow strips of transparent glass. All 3 bedrooms and the kitchen have air conditioning which is necessary at temperatures of 35 °. The two bathrooms do not have air conditioning, but we did not think that was a problem. There are 2 fridges so you can keep your drinks and food cool.Please be careful not to drive past the house. If you take the Via Pulica, drive immediately before the sign Via Vecchia di Mezzomonte to the left and you will be standing in front of your house.”
