About the holiday home

This 5-bedroom holiday home in Touques can host 10 people and is ideal for a family with children or large groups. It features a fenced garden with barbecue - so relax and enjoy the delicious food over friendly banter.

You can enjoy fine dining from restaurants only 1 km away. Should you want to stock up your pantry, supermarket can be reached within 2 km. Deauville town center is 2 km away, to explore the area at leisure. A seabeach lies within 3 km away, so you can plan a day trip there as well.

This home has a TV in the living room and a garage as well. 2 of your furry friends can be brought along, free of cost. Washing Machine will help you sort laundry.

Train station is 2 km away.

Check-in between 4 – 6 PM and check-out between 8 – 10 AM.

It is strictly forbidden to organise any student party, bachelor party or drinking party in this house

“We were a bit dissapointed when we arrived at the house. It was a nice big house, but everything was a bit messy. The house wasn"t in it"s best shape. Lamps were broken, the dishwasher was falling apart, the glasses weren't clean, the house itself wasn't 100% clean as well and the garden was kind of messy. There was no key where it should have been, and the cleaning lady was not reachable. The owner of the house was very friendly and helpful (from Paris).”

“The house is very disappointing. Location is great, quiet residential area, nice garden with sun and a spacious house. But inside it is lived, outdated. Dishwasher is broken, coffee machine broken, no high chair available that would be there. Blankets over the sofa to hide the fact that it has a lot of stains. Kitchen utensils dirty and in need of renewal. No hood. Finishing leaves something to be desired, loose skirting boards and wallpaper in places. Floor of the shower is broken, lime deposits everywhere and shower drain was clogged which we solved ourselves. All in all… not recommended and no follow-up for us. We had already read a review from 9 months ago, and thought it would have improved by now, but we recognize 90% of the old review. House seems clean, but when our 10 month old baby starts to crawl he is always covered in dust and dog hair.”

“Below is a summary. Don't go here:Bad laundry:Mold (and not much) in fridge & freezer & a layer of (defrost) water in crisper drawer. Had to be cleaned first. Kitchen cupboards and cutlery drawers are visibly dirty, dusty and greasy. No extractor hood. Dishwasher not maintained and even the cap of the salt reservoir was missing. Living room floor clean and living room itself superficially clean, everywhere corners where junk and dust was Cloths and dish brush on the counter very dirty, should have been replaced (or not offered) Dirty toilet and toilet brush Shower rotary knobs broken and shower floor broken. Shower head of the rain shower full of lime. Beds seemed and smelled clean so we just relied on that. Although the flannel on the mattress looked very dirty. Garden was very badly cared for and messy. Lots of weeds, tall grass, broken sidewalk, broken lighting. Totally not suitable for children to play in. What you do not expect from a “Belvilla”: Finishing the entire house was bad, Plinth finish, for example A kitchen without an extractor hood Aluminum blades (which you should not call a knife) Pans that do not work on induction Coffee cups machine (Bosch Tassimo…) without instructions for use, which also needs maintenance, just put a Nespresso machine in itOld bedding, in the year 2022 not even fitted sheets and moltons with elastic, but ordinary (old) sheetsNo bedside lamps by the bedsNot working sockets (minimum 2)Toilets without good extraction and poorly laid laminate (on the toilet!) Lamps on the front door patio were loose and did not work Loose and broken tiles in the garden Faded glory so to speak!”

“The cottage is a beautiful cottage, but faded glory. The dishwasher was broken and could no longer be made in our holiday week. Also, many things are not finished, such as skirting boards that are missing in various places. The garden can also be taken care of. The grass was very high and construction was still going on. This was therefore not suitable for our grandson and the dog to play. The cottage is offered with a garage, but you can't get in there, because construction work is taking place. The cottage was also not really clean. There were cobwebs everywhere and the food from the previous visitors was still in the fridge. You can also see on the ceiling that there has been water damage, the paint is just peeling off. It's also strange that you don't see anyone for the key, you have to look for it as a kind of escape room at the gate and the garden. Normandy is a very beautiful region and we will definitely come back there, but then we will choose another accommodation!”

“The house is very nicely decorated, the bedding comfortable, but was very cold when we arrived. The heating could be put on after the cleaning. It was arranged within 24 hours. (with the open fire) A child"s bed was not prepared (the reservation nevertheless specified the number of adults and children) A few problems with the limited number of saucepans and 1 not suitable for the induction hob as well as "1 frying pan (sometimes complicated for meals for 10 people) 3 wine glasses: few for 7 adults, 1 percolator would be more suitable for the number of people than a simple pod machine. Some additional information for example on the handling of the oven, 1 bakery address... would be useful.”

“We were able to clean the house ourselves on arrival, so we do not want to pay for this either. The floor of the toilet was still dirty with wet over and it was clean. Fingers were still on the kitchen cabinets, the floors were dirty, we have photos. Fortunately, we can put that behind us and still enjoy our holiday”
