On top of a mountain, with a view of the Pyrenees, and on the edge of a tiny hamlet via a forest road you will reach this small hamlet where your friendly Irish host Ben will do everything to give you an unforgettable holiday. Cosiness for those who want it, and privacy for those who prefer to be on their own. Originally it was two houses, and for a maximum of 4 people you can rent the leftmost house. You then have no neighbors in the other house.

The house is located on the border of the Aude and the Tarn, half an hour from the largest fortified city in Europe: Carcassonne. In the wider area there are several lakes where you can enjoy canoeing, but also go rafting on the river Aude! The area is wild and is very imposing. You can enjoy fantastic hiking and horse riding here. Be sure to visit the Saturday market of Revel, one of the 100 most beautiful markets in France.

It is a typical French house, but neatly and tastefully decorated, with a large garden at the side and rear with a private swimming pool. There is a large fireplace and a cozy sitting area. There is a large BBQ area and the pool and garden are easily accessible from the rear of the house.

Approx. 3 weeks before arrival you will receive your booking confirmation with information on e.g. where to pick up the key

Voucher and driving directions

1. When you have booked a holiday through us, you will receive a booking confirmation shortly after.

2. You will receive the final confirmation during the following day.

3. When we have registered your last payment, you will receive travel documents concerning your holiday home.

Collection of keys

Details as to collection of keys will be informed per e-mail at the latest 3 weeks before arrival day.

Arrival day

In general the holiday home will be ready for you from 4pm on the arrival day.

Arrival outside opening hours

If you arrive late in the evening, the reception/key collection place will be closed. Please check in good time how to behave in such cases.

Extra services

All the apartments have kitchen equipment for the number of persons for which the apartment is meant. In some cases linen and towels can be ordered - for further info pls see the description of the holiday home on DanCenter.dk under "extra services". Here it will also appear if it is possible to book other equipment such as a cot, a high chair for babies etc.

Tourist fee: A few of the holiday resorts have a tourist fee to pay at arrival.

What is a cleaning audit charge?

We charge customers a small cleaning audit fee to prepare the room for the next guest, even as some outgoing guests prefer to clean the room themselves. Are such guests still required to pay a cleaning charge? Yes. Please let us explain.

While we appreciate guests cleaning the room themselves, we nonetheless conduct an audit to ensure that the room is in excellent shape. The cleaning audit fee we levy is for the time and effort involved in checking that our cleaning standards have been met, so that we can provide our customers with the best experience.
