About the holiday home

Enjoy a relaxing holiday at this 3-bedroom villa in Rocamadour in the illy countryside. There is a beautifully located swimming pool, which invites you to take a fresh dive in the water. The villa is perfect for a 6-member family or group of friends.

The villa is very close to the nice town of Alvignac, which rests at 800 m away. If you have children along with you, don't miss visiting the Gramat Zoo at 10 km. Restaurant and general supply stores are available at the town centre itself.

Tastefully decorated, the villa has an electric heating facility. Admire the nature in the beautifully landscaped garden while reading a book or savouring a cool drink. Before diving into the pool, enjoy the sun on one of the lounging chairs on the sun terrace. The large, partly covered, furnished terrace with a barbecue is in place if you want to organise an outdoor culinary evening. Parking is available.

“A wonderful holiday home in a beautiful place. What was said in the other reviews about noisier air conditioning from the cheese factory across the street, or barking dogs, we cannot agree with that at all. House is centrally located with the village of Alvignac nearby for delicious fresh bread in the morning. The house is fully equipped and especially the fence around the pool is an advantage for us with small kids. The garden is large and very private. If I can mention a point for improvement, it is the furniture that is by the pool. The sunbeds do need to be replaced and the parasol has had its day. We would quietly book this house again. The owners / managers are very friendly and if there is something they respond quickly. We had a wasp nest above the back door and it was immediately resolved. Top!”

“Great welcome by the owner. You will feel very welcome right away. We have been in France for holidays and have been in many holiday homes for years, but this is our place to return more often. The house is very comfortable and fully equipped, it is lacking. large garden with optimal privacy through the high gardens around it and not to mention the amazing view of 8 km. far across the valley from the large terrace .The large swimming pool with the deck is ideal as well. takes to use it, the water that is warmed up by the sun cools down at night, hardly anymore! Certainly not to mention the super friendly and helpful owners. They always ask for anything if they want to be done and if something is missing and if necessary resolve it as soon as possible.”

“The accommodation looks a bit neglected on the outside. Ms. was present and showed the whole house. There was somewhere ??? By complaining, I can not stand up so I went to see what the door was in the hallway. Could not find it all the time because all the doors were open. When it turned out, the toilet door and the bathroom door could not be locked. That was not nice. There are things that you just do behind a close door. Committed to the owner, yes it was for a long time ???? Furthermore, we had to research ourselves after a few days for the sun loungers. There was a table with 4 pillowchairs on the terrace. After 14 days you get really square buttocks. The garden was beautiful and large and almost completely closed. Nice dog could not leave. House is rented for 6 people, but why do you have 4 chairs, also in the dining area? Weather was 1st week bit rainy but 2nd week we were very happy with swimming pool, 32 gr. Ms. had such moods, did not make an invincible word, but the look .... oh so sorry.”

Our children came out of the water with blue lips and eventually did not want to enter the pool because of the cold of the water. Unfortunately, we also found that the owner did not work in the garden without warning us if the pool was being cleaned. In our opinion, violated our privacy. Just a knock on the door or something like that was nice.”
