About the holiday home

Located in Bathernay, this simplistic holiday home is perfect for a weekend getaway. It can accommodate up to 5 guests and has 3 bedrooms. It has a roofed terrace and barbecue for you to sit back and relax after a long day.

The lake lies 5 km from the home. The nearest restaurants and grocery store are 7 km from the home. You can also visit Romans-sur-Isère et 20 km Valence at 35 km. Tennis is at 7 km and golf course is a short drive away.

A garden is accessible for you to enjoy a delicious platter of barbecue with your dear ones. A children’s bed and high chair are available in the home on request. Fireplace and heating are available in the premises for a comfortable stay. Play equipment and table tennis table are provided for recreational purposes.

The guests can check-in from 4-7 PM and check-out can be done from 9-10 AM.

“De prijs/kwaliteit verhouding voor dit vakantiehuis is erg goed. Annie was erg gastvrij en behulpzaam, maar drong zichzelf nooit op. Het huisje ligt op een rustige plek met mooi uitzicht. De inventaris was erg compleet. Erg veel muggen, maar er waren gelukkig horren voor de ramen. In Bathernay is niets te doen, je moet even rijden voor supermarkten (15 min) en activiteiten. Wij vonden Valence (35 min), de Vercors om te wandelen, Palais Idéal (15 min), Lac de Champos (10 min) en Chateaux Charmes (10 min) de moeite waard. Aanrader!”

Less perfect: Drive far to do things, house rather old, it is hard in heat. Bring extra fans and a swimming pool. Lake 7 minutes away is a bit crowded and dirty.”

Because we were already in France we asked if we could arrive earlier, that was possible. There is plenty to do in the area, including a recreational lake nearby and the mountains of the Vercors an hour's drive away. The swing was a success with our children, the covered terrace offers space for an inflatable pool (bring your own).”

“In advance, we had a good orientation about the location of the house and went to it without any problems. Warm welcome by the owner. Excellent, clean, cozy accommodation. Spacious covered terrace with fantastic views. Large garden with shade throughout the day. The house is located in a quiet, not exaggerated tourist area with beautiful nature. Within a 30 km radius, do more than enough. In the cottage many leaflets. Visiting the Tourist Board in St Donat worth it.”

“To reach the house we traveled a lot through the rural area of the Drome. The coordinates we took from the Belvilla website in GoogleMaps sent us to the top of a hill where the house was not. It was a bit of a search, but after the end of the hill, it went down and went down after 5 minutes to find the house. This is probably due to the fact that the house is in the back of a garden of another house, and it can only be achieved by going over a small rocky path. For future visitorsThe house you have to call has BLUE LIQUES on the outside. The house number is correct as stated in the travel description and is shown in 3 small red tiles. The house itself is very well-presented. What you see on the Belvilla site's pictures is really what you get. Beautiful views over the rolling hills of the Drome, plenty of shady spots, neat amenities and beds and a peaceful setting.The house is shared with a neighbor, But we did not mind at all, the children found the playgrounds very nice, and enough information about the area with all kinds of activities is available in the house. A 10-minute drive and for excursions there are plenty of nice towns near St Donat, Lyon and Vienne. The house is a great place to explore the Drome.”
