Signed open air pools are small and therefore overcrowded and most are only open in July and August, while it is already very hot in June. The nearest lake for swimming is an hour away. “House was not too hard to find, but everything turned out to be locked and the landlord did not live next door. After we had informed the landlord by telephone that we had arrived (only to communicate in French) the owner came to open the house after about 45 minutes. “Our stay in Senezergues started with a difficult start. The owners (2 brothers) do not live next to the house and you must agree a time in advance for the key transfer. That was very difficult. “On arrival we had to wait half an hour because the owner lived further away. After arrival we explained in peace how everything worked and we received 2 nice welcome gifts. The location of the house was a bit disappointing because even the Belvilla photos did not show that a road ran right past the house. The house itself was ok and typically French laid out. What was striking was that some vermin ran back and forth between the ceiling and the floor in the evening. Nothing seen by the way. Owners are going to solve this!
