This is the rural landscape that is so characteristic of Denmark´s fourth largest island, Lolland. That´s why this flat island has been nicknamed "The Pancake", especially In the western part of the island where the flat terrain and fields stretch as far as the eye can see. In addition to the flat landscape, you´ll also find many small inlets dotted along the coast on Lolland, as well as large lakes and woodlands. The southern part of Lolland is bordered by the South Lolland dike.

In a field on Lolland, a monument to time consisting of twelve stone pillars placed in a circle featuring electroacoustic music has been built. Each of the twelve stone pillars is 7-9 m. tall and weighs between 25-45 tons. The tops feature carved faces, all facing the center. The combination of the huge stone pillars and the music creates a unique experience. Bird Song Art Museum. Discover a piece of Danish art history on a visit to the Bird Song Art Museum. The museum houses a fine collection of Danish art from the late 18th century until today and 2-3 special exhibitions are held annually. Here, you can find the works of artists such as the Skagen painters, Olaf Rude, Cobra, Vilhelm Lundstrøm, Kristian Zahrtmann and Jens Juel. The museum is situated in a scenic area that provides the opportunity to enjoy a beautiful walk on the property belonging to the Fuglsang Estate.
