With peaceful surroundings, sauna, garden and play equipment, this modern holiday home in Barvaux-sur-Ourthe, has something for everyone, making the holiday fun for all age groups. With 4 bedrooms to house a family of 8, this place is a good choice for a relaxing family vacation.

If you want to shop for your daily stuff, then the supermarkets are 1 km away from the home. The town centre is 2 km away, where you will find all the facilities. You can also go for a swim in the public pool, 3 km away.

You can get your daily dose of sun in the garden and relaxation in the sauna. Thanks to the play equipment, children will not get bored here. Barbecue is also there for enjoyable dinners with family. Washing machine, TV and parking are additional amenities available for your convenience. You can also extend your days in the solarium. Notably, the electricity costs for months, April/May/Sept are 12.00 €/night, while it is 5.00 € / night for June / July / August. From October to March, it is 18.00 €/night.

Check-in time is 4-6 PM and check-out time is 9-10 AM.

“Stayed from 5 to 12 August. Nice cottage, so had a great time. Playground equipment for the children perfect! Facilities in the cottage top. Although there are always things that are less. For example, no toilet can be locked, plastic garden furniture dried out and rickety (even through chair sunk), very creaking stairs (4 bottom steps) and central hall very noisy because of the large. Nevertheless, enjoyed it very much and these are only minor things. All facilities in terms of shops very close by and of course Durbuy to go out for a nice meal or get a drink. We would book it again!”

“It was a big problem that the downstairs toilet was out of order. My wife is very handicapped and can hardly walk stairs. For every time to the toilet, two people now needed help. Also at night. Furthermore, it stank in the shower downstairs. Toilet upstairs could not be locked. The picnic table outside was rotten and dangerous for children. The wooden floor outside also needs to be replaced. It is so rickety that there is a risk of falling. don't look under the beds, not very clean.”

“It is basically a beautiful, large house. But now some things need to be replaced. The picnic table on the terrace, for example, is completely rotten. Also the drain of the toilet downstairs and the shower downstairs no longer works properly. Take a shower and the bedroom is empty. The house is located on a spacious plot, you have a beautiful view of the woods. We had 2 dogs with us. The garden was not fenced, which was also a downside for us. There is plenty to do in the area, but we had expected more walking and swimming opportunities (river, lake). All in all we had a good holiday but will not be going here again.”

“It was pleasant to stay in villa Noah. The house is very quiet. The rooms were very spacious and all necessities were provided. There is ample storage space in the rooms. A nice added value is the terrace and the playground equipment. All the necessary information was available (e.g. in connection with heating, garbage…). You will also be sufficiently informed in advance by the organization. Picking up and returning the key went smoothly. Overall, the house is neat. If you look in more detail, certain things can be improved (eg lamp broken, odorous mattress, dishwasher did not work). However, these are small details that did not disturb us during our pleasant stay. Thank you!”

“The communication before the start of the stay was initially a bit chaotic, but in the end everything fell into place. After the first check on arrival, the accommodation turned out to be very spacious (we were only five) and the onsite advice was complete to say the least. During the stay there were some imperfections to note in the villa, namely the immense number of flies, moths, etc. that we had to chase as half ghostbusters; the vacuum cleaner that hasn't been emptied in the past thirty-eleven years (which almost left us with a dust lung when emptying it) and the fact that the garbage wasn't collected on Tuesday morning (which is probably a misunderstanding). There is little to criticize about the location, which was quiet and relatively close to the center and department stores (we did not have a vehicle at our disposal, so everything had to be done on foot). A big plus is the adventurous and recreational Durbuy, which is only a stone's throw away. Although we were also able to enjoy ourselves in the center of Barvaux, which is also vibrant and diverse. Who knows, who else you might encounter in a sober-looking restaurant at 7 p.m. ... Then to close. Despite we, as proud West Flemish people, have made every effort unconditionally and entirely of our own accord to to provide our best French, it was a great pleasure when we could hear our dearly beloved West Flemish back when we returned home. ;-)”

“Accommodation offers enough space for 8 people and a baby. Located 1km above a hill from the village and large chain stores. Railway nearby but noise did not bother us. Beautiful playground and resting meadow. Building does show small cracks in Leiter despite new construction in 2017. Located within walking distance (5 km) from the town of Durbuy,”

“It is a wonderful holiday home in a good location, as three couples we enjoyed it very much. From the house you are quickly in nature to enjoy walking or cycling. The only thing we missed were some basic necessities that could have made a big difference. Olive oil, pepper and salt. A washing-up brush or some blocks for the dishwasher. This is not mandatory but is a small effort for a great virtue. Furthermore, the house was clean and tidy and we were very satisfied.”
