This cosy holiday home in Sougné-Remouchamps has 2 bedrooms to accommodate 4 guests, wishing for a holiday on a peaceful spot where stress is a far cry. Set amidst picturesque surroundings, the child-friendly home has a terrace and garden to relax and enjoy the views.

The town centre is just 3 km away. The restaurants, 500 m away are perfect places to enjoy yummy food when you don’t want to cook. You can also shop at the stores, 2.5 km away.

Families with kids can stay here as children’s beds and high chair are available here. The centrally heated home also provides bicycles for the convenience of families. Parking is available for your comfort. Barbecue is also available for enjoyable meals. The ground floor has a large kitchen, where you can cook healthy meals. The sitting room has a double sofa bed where you can lounge, when not outdoors.

“House is comfortable, very nicely located but would need to be refreshed. Photo wallpaper is almost hanging off the wall. The house probably had water damage during the flood 2 years ago and it shows. Shame ! We had problems with lighting in the bathroom and after a phone call to the owners this was resolved as quickly as possible, which deserves kudos.”

“The house is beautifully situated on a river. There is plenty to do in the area: hiking, Remouchamps caves, town of La Roche d'Ardenne. The house has everything you need to spend a week. The underfloor heating is very pleasant. There is a modern TV with internet connection, but we were unable to get it to work. No problem: we brought a laptop. The WiFi works stable and fast. We ourselves were not satisfied with how clean the house was. This is in contrast to several previous reviews about this house. There was dust everywhere. Light switches, handles, doors were sticky. Stove had a lot of burnt food residue. Bottom rack in dishwasher is partly broken. The frying pans need to be replaced. Bedding was not clean. Stains and hair from previous visitors on the mattresses. Showering causes a water ballet in the small bathroom. Seat cushions in the living room are covered in stains. There are leftovers of food in the open edges of the dining table. So we just vacuumed and sound, etc. decreased to have it a bit pleasant. Coincidentally, we had brought our own bedding. So we used that to sleep on. The walls need a lick of paint. Everywhere stains and minor damage on the walls. Would we book this house again? No. Would we go to the Ardennes again? Yes.”

“Bij aankomst zijn we enorm geschrokken. Het rook er vreemd, er was niet schoongemaakt en er lag een vieze onderbroek op de grond. Ook was er beddengoed te kort, deze werd alsnog naar ons toegebracht. Toen wij aangaven ontevreden te zijn pakte hij dit op en zijn ze ons tegemoet gekomen met de schoonmaak kosten. Ik vindt het wel erg jammer dat er erg veel smoesjes naar voren kwamen, alvorens er eerlijk werd medegedeeld dat de schoonmaker ziek was en het hierdoor zo viezig was. Naast dit tafereel, is het best wel eens noodzaak om het interieur op te frissen, het huisje is namelijk erg smoezelig en de meubels kunnen wel een reiniging gebruiken. Waar we wel heel erg over te spreken zijn: het uitzicht! Prachtig stromend water in je achtertuin. Toch zijn we eerder vertrokken en zouden we hier niet snel terug komen.”

“Cosy, cozy cottage on the banks of the Amblève. Contactless access with code. All necessary equipment for a pleasant stay: kitchen, refrigerator, oven, gas stove, dishwasher, TV radio (complete range of Proximus channels), underfloor heating and a cozy sitting area with wood stove, compact bedrooms and bathroom, separate toilet. Nice terrace and garden and private parking. Quietly situated in full nature with the nearest village Sougné-Remouchamps at only 2.3 km. Beautiful walks start at 500m across the (busy) N633 Rue de Trois Ponts. Nice attractions in the area: beautiful walk on the mountain river Ninglinspo as well as the Voie des Aulnes along the Amblève and nature site Heid des Gattes, the caves of Remouchamps, the beautiful site of the local brewery Elfique. We were spoiled culinary in the vintage restaurant Le Bonhomme (a journey back in time) and with the young chef of l'Auberge Gourmande.”

“Small house, beautifully situated on the river, We prefer a more remote location (here the area is busy and somewhat dilapidated), but once in the house the view is very nice, there is enough privacy (in winter already), The cottage is very modern and cleanly furnished, all comfort is available, good heating, good beds, a few minutes by car from many shops, also easily accessible (close to the highway exit), photos are completely in line with reality, ideal for 4 persons, Very good (new?) television! Tip: there could be some more cutlery / cooking pots (especially now that all meals are taken in the house due to corona!),”
