This apartment is in the rural town of Maldegem in Belgium. It is a part of a farmstead that has been renovated to meet modern requirements. The property has 2 spacious bedrooms for 4 and you can even see horse and sheep grazing out in the meadows.

There is a lot of scope for amusement even beyond the property, head out for a walk by the creek or go to the restaurants to try the regional specialities such as their mussel or eel dishes. Moerhuize is situated in the borough of Maldegem which is known for its steam museum, the Japanese, French and English gardens and the Canada museum.

You can even go fishing or cycling nearby. The property has a private terrace with a brilliant view.

The restaurants are a km away, with the lake at 10 km and the sea only 15 km away. Access to public transport is also 15 km away with the airport being 64 km away at Ostend-Bruges International Airport.

Approx. 3 weeks before arrival you will receive your booking confirmation with information on e.g. where to pick up the key

Voucher and driving directions

1. When you have booked a holiday through us, you will receive a booking confirmation shortly after.

2. You will receive the final confirmation during the following day.

3. When we have registered your last payment, you will receive travel documents concerning your holiday home.

Collection of keys

Details as to collection of keys will be informed per e-mail at the latest 3 weeks before arrival day.

Arrival day

In general the holiday home will be ready for you from 4pm on the arrival day.

Arrival outside opening hours

If you arrive late in the evening, the reception/key collection place will be closed. Please check in good time how to behave in such cases.

Extra services

All the apartments have kitchen equipment for the number of persons for which the apartment is meant. In some cases linen and towels can be ordered - for further info pls see the description of the holiday home on DanCenter.dk under "extra services". Here it will also appear if it is possible to book other equipment such as a cot, a high chair for babies etc.

Tourist fee: A few of the holiday resorts have a tourist fee to pay at arrival.

What is a cleaning audit charge?

We charge customers a small cleaning audit fee to prepare the room for the next guest, even as some outgoing guests prefer to clean the room themselves. Are such guests still required to pay a cleaning charge? Yes. Please let us explain.

While we appreciate guests cleaning the room themselves, we nonetheless conduct an audit to ensure that the room is in excellent shape. The cleaning audit fee we levy is for the time and effort involved in checking that our cleaning standards have been met, so that we can provide our customers with the best experience.
